Indian Ayurvedic beauty and wellness brand SoulTree marks its foray into the brick and mortar space, with the launch of its flagship store at DLF Galleria Market in Gurugram, a city located in the northern Indian state of Haryana, in the metropolitan area of the national capital New Delhi. The boutique spread across 600sqft is located in the shopping district of the city and offers customers a first-hand opportunity to test the brand’s ayurvedic skin, hair and make-up products.
Sustainable flagship store
According to SoulTree, the store is India’s first 100% solar-powered beauty and wellness boutique. It has been constructed using biodegradable materials, non-plastic fixtures and reclaimed wood with a zero-waste policy. “Enhancing its focus on sustainability, the beauty advisers at the SoulTree store are attired in sustainable materials and 100% organic cotton, genuinely resonating with the brand’s message of organic, ethical and eco-friendly,” said brand in a statement.
“The Indian market is ready to experience a fresh take on Ayurvedic beauty. By entering the brick-and-mortar space, we aim to introduce consumers to the attributes of this clean, sustainable and ethical wellness brand. Certified natural and organic lines
SoulTree is an organic Ayurvedic brand certified by German third-party organisation BDIH. The brand offers organic skin care products (moisturizers, anti-wrinkle creams, face oils), bath care products (shower gels, body wash, soaps),hair care solutions comprising of shampoos, conditioners and hair oils, and a makeup collection, which includes Ayurvedic kajals, lipsticks, mascaras and lip gloss made with natural ingredients.
The brand also focuses on sustainable packaging, with the aim to phase out the use of plastics from its packaging, supply chain and operations.
Beyond India, SoulTree’s products are retailed in international markets such as France, Germany, Switzerland, United Kingdom, Spain, Bulgaria, Ukraine, South Africa , Australia and Japan.
